I'm gonna kill that woman

This week I started watching collection of best noir movies. "The big sleep", "The Asphalt jungle", "Double indemnity", "White heat" and so on. All of them are great in their own way. But for my taste, the most incredible of them are where Humphrey Boggart was starring. Bogey is one of the most perfect men! And his characters... On the one hand - cynical and the other - gentle and deeply loving. Always wanted to be with him on the other side of the screen.

Pretending to be a young lady from the cover of a pin up calendar ^^ Easy and carefree mood, I can afford little pranks to myself. Don't want to return to the reality of our dull and gray time ...

Never too late for a little black dress

I know that now is a little late to show my NY outfit :D But I can not help myself, because I love the combination of fluffy earrings and tight-fitting black dress. We tried to recreate a bit of Hollywood glamour :D

Christmas has passed, and I had no time to enjoy its magic moments. Too much work, too many nerves for exams and study. Thanks God, now I can leave it all behind! However, I'm still do not feel relax. Oh how much I  want to plunge into the fairy-tale atmosphere like in the Nutcracker! A huge Christmas tree, decorated with candies and different toys, candles, twilight, mystery ...To cheer myself, I decided to do a little shopping :) Stars were supportive to me! I found some lovely vintage things. Hope they will be useful to me in the New Year's Eve!

So slowly goes the night

Last days have been marked by a tender sadness. It was born by Nick Cave's music, as I listen to it every free minute. His husky voice touches my heart. I like reckless fast tracks, listening to which I imagine as bullets pierce the body of lyrical hero. But more  pleasure brings to me slow love songs with jazz overtones - they reveals Cave's talent  the most. I often lie in bed and listening to his music imagine myself among the "romantic gangsters", he sings about) 

By the way "Mob city" is very nice example of noir! I really enjoy watching it.

I Had A Dream, Joe

 I'm madly in love with American cinema of 20-50s. Gorgeous men, fatal beauty, languid jazz - all incredibly beautiful and mysterious world full of feelings and passions. If I could choose an era in which I want to live it would definitely be XX century. Amazingly eventful era, the heyday of science and the development of new forms of art. Especially the beginning of the century. This time have it's own unforgettable style and charm. Stunning costumes and luxury evening dresses, long gloves, hats ...Recently I got into the interior reminded me gorgeous retro movies. And could not resist a moment to imagine myself in the place of Hollywood film stars.
